Ask any weekend gardener or flower lover about Portland, Oregon, and they will assure you, “The City of Roses” deserves its nickname. Over the course of seven days, you revel in the comfortable beauty of this area while creating images of the many flowers that thrive here. While exploring over 40 acres of dahlia gardens in the town of Canby, you are treated to an endless carpet of red, yellow, pink and orange blooms. Later in the week, visit the Portland Japanese Garden, the Classical Chinese Garden and the famed International Rose Test Garden, which boasts spectacular views of Mt. Hood to the east.
