The Catalog states: Learn to express your unique vision of this magical world. We'll cover digital photographic basics as well as the art of macro photography, benefiting both beginning and intermediate students. Discover how to create light for your macro subjects in which they will sing and dance. Using digital tools, discover how to increase or decrease depth of field, stop the wind, and optimize macro images. Expect studio time and field trips. Bring your digital SLR camera, macro lens or close-up diopter, and sturdy tripod.
But: This is really the perfect opportunity for the budding macro photographer to learn the craft of digital macro or the intermediate macro shooter to perfect his or her craft. One week of nothing but macro photography. Capturing in the field, processing in a digital lab and critiquing in the classroom every day. I understand there will be dancing every night. Don't worry I won't be teaching the dancing part.
